What type of furniture can be built?
If you have an idea of the piece of furniture you would like, we can make it come to life and make it just the way you want. There are no limits to the type of furniture we make. We are more than happy to work with you to design you a piece that full fills all its requirements, while being aesthetically pleasing.
What Options do I have when designing my furniture?
When choose to have a piece of furniture custom made, the following options are available:
- Height, Width & Depth
- Type of timber used
- Finish (rustic, stained, sanded, varnished, painted, etc)
- Fixings
- Accessories
As well as anything else you would like incorporated into your furniture.
What materials can be used to build my furniture?
The beauty of building custom made furniture is that the list of materials which can be used is almost endless. We specialise in building furniture from recycled timber fence palings, sleepers and hardwood, but can use whatever materials you have in mind. We aim to make your piece of furniture exactly the way you want by using materials which will best suit the surrounding of where the piece will reside.
Building pieces from new timber is also an option and can be left raw or treated.
Where does the recycled timber come from?
Majority of the recycled timber used comes from the snowy mountains. The harsh conditions experienced in both summer and winter mean the timber is well weathered and gives it real character. Using the recycled timber gives your furniture a completely unique style and means there will be no other piece like it.
If you have specific styles of timber in mind please let us know as there are many options and contacts which the timber can be sourced from. Photographic samples can be provided prior to construction taking place to make sure the timber is exactly what you want.
Can my furniture be delivered?
Depending on the size of the piece of furniture and the quantity, delivery can be arranged within the Sydney Metro Area. We are happy to working with you to work out the quickest and most efficient method of delivery.
Does the furniture disassemble?
If you would like the option of your furniture being able to disassemble this is possible for large items. Furniture such as bed frames are made to fully disassemble. This can also be an option with the outdoor settings, although I would recommend making a single unit as it is much sturdier.
