Tom Coles – Founder of Timbermill Designs
Timbermill Designs was founded in early 2013 to provide sustainable, environmentally friendly and all Australian home wares and furniture for any environment.
Tom Coles, from country town Cooma – the gateway to the snowy mountains, began making products as a weekend hobby. His unique designs and appreciation for Australian recycled timber, soon spread by word of mouth. The demand for his 100% Australian made products soon so great, that Tom left his day job and Timbermill Designs was born.
Tom and his team design their own home wares and furniture pieces available to purchase as they are. For those looking to create one off designs, Timbermill works together with customers to create exactly what they’re after.
Timbermill also offers rentals of their recycled timber products perfect for unique, special events, and have featured at a number of weddings and parties. Rental products include trestle tables, outdoor bars, benches, stools and boxes.
